Victor J. Herlinsky, Jr. recently merged his growing practice into the firm in early 2004. He brings his extensive governmental and business contacts along with his litigation experience.

Mr. Herlinsky represents a large array of governmental and business clients in a variety of fields. He currently specializes in construction law, having represented several construction companies and general contractors. He has also been appointed by several municipalities such as Ridgefield and Little Ferry to oversee the legal issues stemming from multimillion-dollar construction projects. He also serves as the attorney for the Hackensack Board of Education.

Mr. Herlinsky has represented a variety of clients from residential owners to Fortune 500 companies before local zoning boards throughout Northern New Jersey. He was appointed as the planning board advocate for local residents by the municipality of Fair Lawn. He currently serves as attorney to the Passaic Redevelopment Agency as well as the community development attorney for the City of Passaic.

He has been appointed to a wide range of public positions in the following municipalities: Fair Lawn, Bergenfield, Hackensack, Ridgefield, Wallington, Cliffside Park, Secaucus, Saddle Brook, Paramus, Passaic, Ringwood, New Milford, and Palisades Park. He also serves as counsel to the North Hudson Mayors Association.

As a prosecutor, he currently serves in that position for the Borough of Secaucus, the Borough of Ringwood and the City of Passaic. He also has extensive experience in criminal defense litigation, having represented hundreds of clients from municipal court to first degree offenses. He has been involved in several high profile white collar defense cases.

Among his civic and community outreach efforts, he served on the Board of Shelter Our Sisters, a battered women's shelter, and has served as the Chairman of the Ridgewood Village Parking Committee.

Mr. Herlinsky graduated from Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy and Economics. He went on to earn his law degree from the Washington College of Law at American University. While in law school, he clerked for the United States Department of Justice Antitrust Division. He is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey and the State of New York as well as the Federal Courts in both states.
